One endpoint,
every model.
Tare is an OpenAI-compatible gateway in front of every model you use — ours and the ones you bring yourself. One base URL, one key, and every token accounted for.
Statements & invoices
Statements are locked, reports are live
The Billing page recomputes as you look at it: record a cost price today and last month's figure changes. That is correct for analysis and useless for reconciliation.
A statement is the opposite: when a period ends its numbers freeze and never move again. Corrections do not rewrite history; they are carried into the current period as an adjustment line naming the month they came from.
[!WARNING] Only closed periods are statements. The current month is a live calculation and will change. Reconcile against closed periods only.
Daily statements exist for cost allocation and never carry adjustments: if both daily and monthly carried them, a single late cost correction would be counted twice.
Coverage
Every statement reports how much of itself it could not see: how many calls had no upstream cost recorded. While that number is above zero, the figures are a floor. A statement that knows it is incomplete and one that turned out to be incomplete are very different things in a dispute.
Invoices
Download from the statement row. An invoice is numbered, addressed and taxed, and cannot be changed once issued, so:
- One number per period, and it never changes. Downloading again gives the same invoice.
- You fill in the billing details. The platform holds your login email and nothing else — no company name, registration number or address. Until they are set, no invoice can be issued.
- Changing your details does not change invoices already issued. They carry the details they were issued with, matching the copy in your finance system.
- Tax follows the country on your billing details. Get it wrong and the tax is wrong; it is the one field where a customer-side mistake is borne by the platform.
